My immediate and extended family members don't scrapbook (digitally or otherwise... that I am aware of, anyway), so I keep my fan & personal pages separate. I try not to put too much personal stuff in my newsletter, so I thought I'd start putting it up here on my blog for those of you interested in getting to know the designer behind the mask better!
And because yesterday was Thanksgiving... I took a few pictures of the results of my blood, sweat, and tears that lasted 2 days! Ok, there weren't any tears, but there was definitley a lot of Advils downed, lol. Nick, of course, had to pick at the carcass after everything hit the table - with Tippy at his feet, hoping for some turkey pickings, too ;) The girl made the cranberry sauce and candied yams and helped where she could with everything else... turkey, green bean casserole, mashed potatoes, rolls, and deviled eggs... along with pumpkin, cherry and pecan pies. It was all super yummy... and I don't have to cook today (bonus!)
For those of you that celebrated yesterday, I hope it was wonderful. Nick is Canadian, and always tries to get me to do this twice (they roll out the Thanksgiving table in October). Once is plenty, thanks, lol. I'm thankful this holiday is over.... today will be spent looking for Black Friday goodness and is the day I start looking towards Christmas... and our last 'big' celebratory meal of the year :)
Have a great weekend!
