We haven't quite gotten into the Christmas spirit yet where our tv watching is concerned, although Nick did watch A Charlie Brown Christmas the other day. Here are a few of our latest had-to-watch movies ...
Yes, we still watch a little Disney, even though our kids are 14 + years, LOL! Caroline is actually super interested in an internship at Pixar. Boondock Saints is one of my all-time favorites. I *HAD* to watch The Dark Tower - I'm a huge fan of Stephen King (I know, I know... the movies are n.e.v.e.r. as good as the books!). The Hitman's Bodyguard was hilarious. We love Ryan Reynolds and Samuel L Jackson... and to put both in one movie? Awesome.
What movies are on your must-see list? Are there any Christmas movies you're looking forward to? We're looking forward to The Santa Claus, Rudolph, Frosty, Scrooged, The Grinch, A Christmas Story... and of course, Die Hard... because...
My goofball kids. I just wanted a pic of them in front of the tree.
Apparently, that was too much to ask :P
This is what I go through - every.time. - I want a picture of anybody. I have to rapid fire the photos in the hopes that at least ONE of them will turn out ok. Nicky has to make a face or close his eyes on purpose. JD obvisously doesn't like getting too close to anyone :P Caroline tries, at least. Mostly.
This is what I like to call "parking lot duty". Caroline only has one class on Tuesdays this semester that's only an hour long. Rather than fight traffic, I just sit in the parking lot and read. I'm currently working on 11/22/63 by Stephen King (there's a show on Hulu based on this book). I get at least 100 pages in every week, lol.
I found I could assign photos to contacts on my new phone, so yea, there's these.
I can't complain too much. There are rare occasions when I get 'normal' photos. In between, I get several laughs, and some pretty funny scrapbook pages, so it's all good :)
It's been a pretty busy, yet uneventful week around here. Just a lot of back & forth between the college, the high school, and my daughter's work. She's not licensed yet (we're working on that), but purchased her first car last month... and this week she's put her first tank of gas in it. She's so thrilled, of course...
She couldn't BELIEVE it took almost 16 whole dollars to fill up her tank. Seriously? It takes twice that much to fill mine up, and my car is two fill-ups to her one :P She felt pretty good about it after I told her that, lol.
Yesterday, my Galaxy S3 freaked out, so I hit up Best Buy and got a J7. I'm not fond of getting new phones, but when I do, I go with Samsung ;)
Other than ordering JD his class ring, that was pretty much this week's highlights, pretty boring... but I like boring sometimes!
Have a great weekend ♥
